The boundary of the acquired land is irregular towards
the CARD area. To this effect, proposals have been forthcoming from the Ministry
of Agriculture to realign the boundary through a land swapping process. The
area of land involved is approximately 1.22 Ha. This process would enable the
town area to have definitive boundary with the CARD area (Fig. 9). While doing
the land swap, provisions would have to be kept for a primary road access from
above the CARD area, which would facilitate smooth movement of traffic into
and away from the new township. A further approach road would be possible from
the road to Shengana, although the stretch of the road to Shengana within Bajo
would be difficult to expand as the properties along the road is extensively
built-up.
