Site for Fuel Station

It is important to relocate existing fuel station site to a place showed in the plan i.e. the old hospital site. The present site is very close to the crossing point which is not advisable because vehicles enter and go out not from the highway but from the access road to avoid traffic jams. Vehicle coming from any direction can enter the fuel station site and go out from any direction smoothly using roundabout on the crossing point. A dense green buffer of 4m width is proposed in the East, North and West side of the fuel station site so that the residents living in the vicinity are not affected by the increasing velocity of the traffic. The site is identified as there is adequate vacant land to incorporate associate uses like gas and kerosene. Besides, it is also an appropriate site in the long term as the trend of development is towards Geptey.
