| The Chenkhep roof is a lean-to roof usually built at a gable end to protect the structure from rain. Traditionally it is only allowed on buildings with Jamthog or Lung-go roof. Like the Jamthog, the Chenkhep enables one to achieve an economic roofing structure and provides protection to timber members from rain. A Chenkhep roof is permissible on all types of building. |
