Notification

The Ministry of Works & Human Settlement has been receiving either directly or through municipalities request fot allotment of land in urban areas to public corporations,NGOs, commercial organizations and even private agencies for various purposes such as eastablishing offices, cinema halls, shops, etc.In this regard, we regret to inform that this is no longer possible as there is hardly any vacant government land available in the urban centres, acquisitionm of private land for allotment to non-governmental organizations and private organization is neither possible nor fair and with the adoption of land pooling system even the land required for infrastructure is contributed by the public. Such organization should either acquire or lease/hire such land and properties from private owners. Henceforth, such requests will not be entertained.
