INVITATION OF BIDS

1. The Department of Urban Development and Engineering Services, Ministry of Works and Human Settlement on behalf of The Royal Court of Justice, Thimphu, BHUTAN invites sealed item bids from the registered eligible Class ‘A’ Contractors with W3 qualification, having valid license from CDB, RGoB for the Building Works – CHIEF JUSTICE COURT [Civil and Allied Works] at Hejo, North of Trashi Chhoe Dzong.

2. A complete set of bidding documents can be purchased by the interested eligible bidders on payment (non-refundable) fee of Nu. 5,000 (Ngultrum Five Thousand) to the Accounts Section, Ministry of Works and Human Settlement and after producing the revenue receipt to the office of the Director, DUDES (Phone No. 321828).

3. An earnest money deposit of not less than 2% of the quoted amount shall be enclosed with the bid documents in the form of demand draft/ cash warrant/ bank guarantee only from the recognized Financial Institute prepared in the favor of the Director, Department of Urban Development and Engineering Services (DUDES). Earnest money in the form of cash shall not be accepted.

4. The bids must be delivered in accordance with “Instruction to Bidders” to the office of the Director, Department of Urban Development and Engineering Services (DUDES), Ministry of Works and Human Settlement on or before 1200 hours on 1st August 2008.

5.  The bid shall be opened at 1400 hrs on the same day in the presence of the bidding contractors.

6. The IMLTC reserves the right to reject or accept the bids without assigning any reasons.
